Somehow it caught the eye of someone at the French National Library (BNF) who is charged with keeping archive of all documents published in France (It was at least I am not sure how exactly they keep up now). They did a diaporama on biographies on the web and chose to feature my article on Margaret Hamilton, <a href="https://www.bnf.fr/sites/default/files/2022-09/Diaporama_Parcours_guid%C3%A9_Biographie_sur_le_web.pdf">see page 13</a>. I am really proud ! Also it means the previous version of the <a href="https://girlscancode.fr/">girls can code! website</a> which I also designed will be preserved… Not sure I am as proud of that :p</p>Garance Gourdel

2020-01-04T00:00:00+01:002020-01-04T00:00:00+01:00http://localhost:4000/2020/01/04/oceans-illumines<p>I was luck enough to have the chance to go to the <a href="https://www.jardindesplantesdeparis.fr/en/activities-events/galleries-gardens-zoo-libraries/illuminated-ocean-3844">Illuminated Ocean</a> exhibition at the Jardin des Plantes in Paris and experiment seriously with my new camera there it was very fun! <img style="width=50%" src="/assets/images//illlumination_ours.jpg" /> I was very happy to see jellyfishes. My camera was displaying their blue as purple and I try playing with the withe balance settings of the camera but didn’t manage to fix it so i fixed it in post-processing. <img style="width=50%" src="/assets/images//illumination_jellyfishes.jpg" /> <img style="width=50%" src="/assets/images//illumination_octo.jpg" /> <img style="width=50%" src="/assets/images//illumination_plant.jpg" /> <img style="width=50%" src="/assets/images//illumination_deepwater.jpg" /> <img style="width=50%" src="/assets/images//illumination_flamingo.jpg" /> The exhibition is until the 19 of January so if you have time I highly recommend it! In consistent hashing you want to be able to assign dinamically a set of keys K to a set of buckets,in which they will be stored, and the number of bucket can either increase or decrease at any moment and the keys should be remapped efficiently (less tha K/m remapping in averrage, m being the number of buckets).Garance Gourdel
